REV. MS. EVELYN MORGAN JONES, I LOVE YOU

In this book, a minister expresses his feelings and reactions to a colleague in the clergy who is a woman. In a letter to her, he discusses the ways in which he relates to her -- as a woman, a daughter, a sister, a minister, a person.

Although the woman minister who is addressed in the book is a composite of many women whom the author has known, there was a real person who worked as a colleague with the author. This person has written an "Afterword" responding to what the author has said.

Ray Jennings is Senior Minister of the First Baptist Church of Syracuse, New York, following a pastorate in the First Baptist Church of Berkeley, California. A graduate of William Jewell College and Yale Divinity School, he holds the Th.M. from Berkeley Baptist Divinity School and the Th.D. from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He also taught in the Kanto Gakuin University, Yokohama, Japan, for a number of years.
